In March 2015 we relocated into a small production kitchen in Telford which means we can now make more of our luxury ice cream and sorbets for your customers.
We would like to develop some important partnerships with a select number of local businesses that want to scoop, serve and sell our delicious ice cream and sorbets. Our ice cream is produced under strict regulations complying with HACCP Regulations and we hold full product liability insurance for your piece of mind. This is your assurance that, throughout the production process, we adhere to strict food safe practices.
Commercial kitchens are a hive of hot activity, trying to please customers tastes and constantly inventing new dishes to keep ahead of the competition. Your ice cream and sorbets should be treated with the same importance, lifting both savoury and sweet dishes to a higher level. However a commercial kitchen environment is not ideal for the delicate process of ice cream production and it is one of the areas, most difficult to perfect.
The science of making ice cream is very complex and at The Shropshire Ice Cream Company, we take no shortcuts. The ingredients for our dairy ice cream are blended before being pasteurised and homogenised. It is then aged for at least 24 hours which ensures that it is naturally creamy and smooth before being frozen with the final addition of any other natural ingredients.
The difference in taste is obvious, with a much purer product and natural flavour.
We can work with you to choose and develop flavours to compliment your menu. See us as an extension of your kitchen.
FARM SHOPS / DELIS
At festivals, we are always being asked “where can we buy your ice cream?”. We are now able to supply single 100 mil tubs or family sized 500 mil tubs for your customers to enjoy either on the move or at home complimenting your range of desserts in your shop.
Our ice cream and sorbets also come in 2.5 ltr and 4.75 ltr Napoli pans, ideal for you to scoop in your shop or at a festival or event. We don’t think they will stay around for long, but they have a minimum of a 6 month shelf life just in case!
